My Current Skincare Routine

Ever since I graduated college 2 years ago, my skin drastically changed and for the worse! I used to only get a break-out here or there during that time of the month, but after moving to Nashville, moving in with our in-laws and starting a new job, my skin started breaking out like crazy. I was still using my Rodan & Fields Unblemish acne system, but with the crazy price, and not seeing any results, I was looking to try something new.

Why I switched my skincare line
During this time, I was following some of my favorite bloggers who were all talking about Tula, but it seemed too good to be true. After two more months of breaking out on my current acne treatment, I was up for a new order and finally decided to make the switch. I ordered the Tula Discovery Kit that is all travel size products. From everything I heard, this was the cheapest way to try the best products and would give at least 30 days of use to see if these were products I loved.

Trying something new:
I’m not going to lie, the first two weeks didn’t go exactly how I had planned. I continued to break out, but saw a drastic change in my skin’s texture and my dry patches were starting to even out. Because I had been on the Rodan & Fields Unblemish line for over 2 years, I knew my skin would be up for a drastic change with anything I used, but wasn’t sure how long it would take to see a difference in my acne.

Two weeks later . . .
After two weeks on the TULA discovery kit, the amount of white heads were decreasing and my skin was 100x smoother than it had ever been. My makeup was applying much smoother and I could almost go without foundation.
To this day, I would recommend anyone looking to switch their skincare to try out the discovery kit. If you decide you love the items before you need a refill, it’s actually the travel set, so keep it for your next traveling adventure! I still purchase it today, to keep with me for trips and even little Knoxville adventures.

My current skincare items
Since my skin is very freckled, I have red undertones, and could never go without some CC cream before TULA without all kinds of red spots showing. After one month with the discovery kit products, I was able to get ready in the morning by only doing my brows and walking out the door. This was HUGE for me!! If you’re looking for everyday makeup products that reduce red tones, this blog post has my current makeup!
A year later:
Now, I’ve been using the TULA line for over a year, and am just as happy as I was one month into their products. Thankfully, they are an evolving brand that keeps exploring new products which constantly improves my skin.
Just recently, I got a job promotion at my architecture office that demands much more of my time. This new stress increased my regular break-outs and I immediately reached for my acne products. I switched up my normal cleanser and added in the new spot treatment and saw a decrease in the new spots. Since I tend to reach for different items during different stages of my skin, I have linked my favorites by different skin concern below!

I love Tula! I’ve heard if you are using anything the retinol, and then switch, your skin gets worse before it gets better!
