Who I’m Crushing on this Valentines

Let’s be honest, I’ve been crushing on the same man for 5 years now, and will for the rest of my life!! I think Valentines Day is such a fun time of the year to ramp up the spark that sometimes is lost in every day-to-day interactions with one another from work and school. I personally enjoy getting to love a little extra on my man and don’t mind the extra kisses myself!

To give a little history on our relationship, Nathan & I met freshman year of college at the first football game of the year. We were both established in our fraternities and sororities and I was checking out every spot I could to see where my crowd was going to be! We were actually introduced by my roommate at the time, who had know Nathan all of high-school, and I slowly found  out that my new group of friends in college were all old friends of Nathan; this world is too small after all!

After our first date, which was Chick-fi-la, I mean clearly we knew we were destined for life from there, it felt like we became a couple who not only loved each other, but wanted to better each other. I give Nathan a ton of credit for helping me achieve everything I did in school. He was my rock when architecture professors were grilling me for countless hours, and I know I wouldn’t be the person I am today without him by my side.

Not only do I hope you have a loved one who betters you, but I hope you love on them a little extra today! Today, pick up the extra socks and undies your man left around the house, and step outside your comfort zone to tell him/her how much you love them; not because they don’t know it, but because everyone loves an extra bit of love.
