Trunk Club Part 2: Summer Style
Well you guys loved the first trunk I posted, and since I get them monthly, I was beyond excited to share what was in my trunk this month! I requested some dressier options for some events and weddings I have coming up this summer and got a ton of jumpers this time, which are my favorite!! I have everything linked in each photo, and will attach a link below if you’d like to sign up for the service with my stylist, her name is Hannah too, so its meant to be!!

Let’s get started!! First of all, something I would HIGHLY recommend is reviewing your trunk before it gets shipped, you’ll receive an email when your stylist is done selecting items for you, and from there you just click whether you like or dislike each item she chose and can request more items in your trunk. I forgot to do this on my first trunk and ended up with a lot of items that weren’t exactly my style, but this time I remembered and denied a few items but Hannah really got my style this time and sent me a ton of cute items I plan on keeping once I get the right size.
I couldn’t wait till the end to share my best for last, so this time I’m sharing my favorite first which is this pom pom jumper! I’m wearing a size M here and it runs large so I sent it back and requested a small, I’ll be sure to share the fit once I get it in. I was not only obsessed with the colored pom poms, but loved the overall fit and split in the legs. While it’s not an everyday look, this item is too special for me to pass on, I’ve never seen a jumper like this and can’t wait to wear it out. I’m hoping my new one gets here in time for Cinco de Mayo because this baby is ready for a party!!
Next up is this fun eyelet jumper that I received in my last trunk, but it didn’t fit so I sized up to a M in this box and it fits better, but I still am not a huge fan of this on my body type. I have seen this jumper on a ton of my blogger friends and it looks amazing on them, so don’t hate on this jumper, it’s gotta be me haha! But to give a little more info, it zips up in the back and has the cutest frill sleeves, I wanted this to work so bad, so someone please buy this and tag me so I can share it on a beautiful babe!!
To keep in the jumper trend, I fell in love with this navy jumper due to the bow ties on the sleeves! I’m wearing a size 6 in this and it fits true to size and has pockets and a side slit on the legs; it doesn’t get any better!! As you can see, the length is a cropped fit, so if your taller than me it’ll probably be a tad shorter on ya! Also, its currently marked down to under $100 so if you’re interested nows the time to grab this cutie! Its in stock in all sizes as of now, but I’m sure it’ll sell out quick at $84!
Alright last jumper for this box and its a good one ya’ll! This black jumper is 100% versatile and could easily be worn to work or a summer wedding! I love the large black bow tie, and the v neck, its slimming and stretchy so basically its perfect. I am wearing a size 6 in this, but need to size down because I had a lot of extra fabric around the hips, so I’ll be getting it in a size 4. The length is again cropped, so in style this season, but is a longer length than most for me which is why I still think its appropriate for the office.
Switching gears a little bit and showing some skin with this off the shoulder top that actually has a matching bottom set, but was sold out when my trunk shipped. I’m wearing my normal size M here and it fits great and is the perfect length for tucking in or wearing out. I also love that you can raise your arms up and down without the top sliding up, it has just the right amount of stretch without popping off your shoulders. The best part is its on sale now too for only $26! Click the picture or the slide below to grab it while its still in stock.
Unfortunately my #bootygoals must be paying off because these adorable wide leg jeans didn’t fit! I have a size 4 here, so I’ll be sizing up and will report back, but think they are the perfect dark wash jean for summer. They are a cropped length with a wide leg, which creates an elongated slimming effect, perfect for all my fellow shorties out there! This top would be a create an effortless summer look with the right amount of trend. I can’t wait to get these in my size to wear them out!
This is the perfect two-piece set for upcoming weddings, and special events this summer, but as you can tell, didn’t quite work out for me. I try to be as honest as possible with these reviews, and let me tell ya this is about as honest as it gets. I didn’t even want to post this picture, but figured I wouldn’t be myself if I didn’t share the good without the bad. While I love the set in person, and the detailing is amazing for the price point, I’m not one to wear pencil skirts or crop tops due to having a larger bust size. I think this would be perfect for a B cup size, since the lace below the bust line is see through and showed my bra since it was too small. The back of the crop top is stretch so it fit my band size perfectly! Another great find for a different body type so again if you get this please tag me so I can share what it’s supposed to look like on a slimmer frame!
Sharing accessories last because they are the finishing touch! I love these Sam Edelman wedges and think they’d easily be a summer staple since the two-tone would match any outfit! They are budget friendly and will last season to season. I ordered my normal 6.5 size, and they fit true to size and were very comfortable.
Okay so I may have lied earlier, I didn’t save the best for last, but these do come pretty dang close because I adore these jeffrey campbell mules! I also got these in my last trunk but received the bright yellow pair in a 6.5 and I always have to size up in mules at least one whole size because of my wider foot. Hannah sent me the light pink pair since the yellow were sold out and just as I expected, I loved these even more than the bright yellow pair! She sent a size 7 and they are still just a touch too small, so I mailed these back to get a 7.5 and can’t wait to finally get them in and start wearing them out! I know I’ll be styling them for date nights and work since they go with everything!
