Trunk Club Part 1: My First Trunk!

I love a good subscription box, and Trunk Club has to be my favorite to date! The reason being, there are no fees if you have a nordstrom card, and if not its a $25 fee that goes towards your box!! If you’ve ever shopped with Nordstrom before, you probably enjoyed the free shipping, one of my favorite reasons to shop there, and its included in this box as well!

These are my favorite items I received and am doing a review of the all the items in my first box on my instagram stories, which you can view by clicking on my instagram name here (hannah.thekraushouse) but have included photos of all the items I tried on and have them linked if you’d like to purchase!

To give a little more information on the Trunk Club subscription, you are given a personal stylist, mine is Hannah and she’s awesome! I chatted with her for a long time to give her ideas on what i was looking for in my first box and even sent her images of items I was looking for, like the yellow mules listed before, that she was able to include in my box! I have tried other subscription boxes, but I can assure you I’ve never been able to send items I would like to try and actually receive that exact item, it was fantastic!

After figuring out my style, Hannah put together 5 items and sent them my way to approve/disapprove and let her know why I did/didn’t like them. I then had the option to let Hannah pick more items to include in my box or only receive the 5 items; I chose to get more things, I mean shippings free so why not?!

I was sent an email once my box shipped which included instructions of how to return the box, either UPS scheduled pickup at my house, or use the prepaid label included in the box and drop it off. This email also included outfits that Hannah suggested from the items she sent me, so if you’re worried about how to style the pieces, your stylist will do that for you when they ship the box out!

Then I got my items and tried them on, kept what I loved, and scheduled a pick up for the things I wanted sent back. I also needed other sizes in some items, so I sent Hannah a message letting her know that I needed a larger size in the yellow mules I loved, and a bigger size in the white lace jumpsuit. I will get those in my next box in the correct size and will try them on for you again to let you know how they fit!

Super cute, just stiff and not the most comfortable jeans I’ve worn. Fit true to size, wearing 28.

These are the shoes I requested from Hannah and got! Will be buying these, they just didn’t fit. My normal size is 6.5 but I need a 7.5 to fit, they run small by a whole size. Also come in light pink, might end up getting that color instead even though this mustard color is great for spring/summer!!

My favorite item from this trunk!! Was not expecting to like this piece so much, but the fit is amazing and flattering!! Wearing size 6, fits perfect!

Don’t own a pair of black wedges, so these are a great option! Very comfortable and great height, wearing normal size 6.5 and they fit great.

Normally wear a size M and Hannah sent a size S in this, it was very tight, I am sending back for a size M but love the lace detail and think I will really like this once it fits!

Cute top, but didn’t need something like this right now. I loved the flared sleeves, but the mid section is completely see-through, would be great with a cute bralette!

Not my style, but a great fitting blazer, size 6 fit perfect but not keeping this! Also comes in black & white pattern.

Adorable straw clutch, and great quality!! If your in the market for a colorful summer clutch this would be a great choice!

Super cute boyfriend blazer that is really comfortable! Would be perfect for business casual workplaces, and can easily dress up an outfit!! Wearing size M and the fit was perfect!

Perfect black tank top! Has adorable side-slits and is slightly shear, but I couldn’t see my bra through when wearing a nude one. I got a size M and it was a great fit, for only $30 this is a great top for work or weekends!!

Saved the best for last!! This was the reason I was so ecstatic to get my Trunk Club!! I got a size 6.5 and they fit perfect, and I plan on wearing them all summer long! Somewhat of an investment, but I’ve tried on other straw shoes, and they aren’t lined like these. The lining will save my feet on hot summer days! Highly suggest getting these trendy shoes!!
