2018 was an amazing year for the Kraus House and more than I ever expected in my less than the first year of blogging! While I am more than thankful for everything this past year has brought, the past two months seriously overwhelmed me and I quickly came to realize, I can’t do it all on my own. That being said, I’m looking to hire 2 amazing girls to join the Kraus House and make 2019 better than the last!

My family asks me all the time what I’m working on, how long it all takes me and I never know how to say, I basically live and breath this job!! Basically, if I’m not at my full time job, I’m either writing a blog post, responding to dm’s, posting on instagram or checking my emails! Thankfully, this job never feels like a job to me so I don’t mind spending all my time on it, but I constantly feel like there is one more thing to do that I can’t quite get too.

Looking for Someone Who

  • Lives in Nashville, TN
  • is able to come to my home or a close location one-two times a week
  • willing to work 8-10 hours per week.
  • extremely organized, motivated, creative, a quick learner and would not be afraid to keep me in line!
  • preferably working towards their marketing, communications, public relations, business or fashion degree.
  • is comfortable working in a ‘dog-friendly’ environment. Sofie (my pyredoodle) is a key part of the Kraus House!

Requirements

  • Owns a laptop
  • Has their own means of transportation
  • Social media experience preferred (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter & Pinterest).

Skills

  • Strong writing and editing skills.
  • Strong Communication skills.
  • Basic camera skills.
  • Interest in fashion, social media, photography and design.
  • Basic skills in Photogshop, WordPress, Lightroom, Tailwind, Planoly, Later and iMovie are an added bonus but not a requirement!

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities will be split between two girls if found! Would ideal love one intern to take care of all social media, and one for website/graphics!

  • Asisst with social media. This includes engaging, posting and helping schedule posts on Facebook, Instagram & Pinterest.
  • Updating old blog posts, creating blog graphics for Pinterest.
  • Help with weekly/bi-weekly photoshoots. This could include taking some photos, pulling items for outfits, gathering props.
  • Create basic template graphics for Instagram stories.
  • Handle Pinterest scheduling through Tailwind.
  • Basic editing and proof-reading for blog posts.
  • All Poshmark related tasks.
  • Brand outreach. This would include reaching out to brand contacts I already have and gathering items for photo shoots.

FAQS

  • I don’t live in Nashville, can I apply and work remotely? Unfortunately, I already have someone interested from Knoxville, TN and am not looking to hire another intern out of town.
  • I currently work at a full-time job but would be able to work after 5:00, would that work? I am definitely open to this, but to be truthful, I need someone who can do tasks throughout the day on friday and sometimes saturday. Most of the responsibilities will be done throughout the week and could be after 5:00pm, so I am open to this idea!
  • I want to start a blog, can you teach me while I intern? While I would love to help everyone starting their own blog, I am really looking for two interns to help me out on my blog. Of course, while on the job, you will learn daily things to help you start your own and I will give any tips I can, but this experience is to help me run my business, not a blogging training course.
  • Is this a paid internship? No, but after a 6 month period, depending on how the relathionship develops, payment opportunities will be offered.
