Welcome to your guide for shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2021! This page will include important dates for each level of shopping and when restocks happen, so be sure to check back often for information on the BIGGEST sale of the year. I recommend going into this sale with a plan & budget, but don’t worry because I’m here to help you along the way!

Several items in this year’s sale are repeats from last year, so be sure to check out the outfit guide from last year here! This year, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale included lots of great options for work from home and everyday basics, which made creating fun outfits a blast. WHEN IS THE NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE 2021?
The sale preview starts on July 6th where you can browse the anniversary sale items and start your shopping list. Below, you can find the key dates for each shopping level. Each day, shopping begins online at 3AM est the day you’re eligible to start shopping.

The sale will end on August 9th with the last day to shop the anniversary sale is August 8th. If you’re unsure when you can shop, visit this page and log into your account. After logging in, your status will be up in the right hand corner and the date will be below letting you know when you can shop the sale.

HOW TO SHOP THE ANNIVERSARY SALE DURING EARLY ACCESS?
Nordstrom cardholders get exclusive early access to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Shopping early is the best way to make sure you get the items you want before they sell out…the good items always go fast! I signed up for the Nordstrom card several years ago and highly recommend it if you shop at Nordstrom often. Not only does signing up for the card get you early access to shop, but you also receive extra bonus notes throughout the year and earn more points per dollar spent.
While I would never recommend going into debt to shop, the Nordstrom Credit Card has several perks I use for my daily shopping that make it worth using over my regular cards! WHY SHOULD I SHOP THE NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE?
For me, this sale includes bigger and better items than Black Friday or Cyber Monday shopping! Most sales include the end of the season items, but the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is the only sale of the year that marks down brand new items. You can score new fall staples well before the temps drop to get the most use of your purchases throughout the upcoming season. I typically invest the most in my Fall and Winter wardrobe because these items are more expensive (think coats, jeans, and boots), so I love getting to shop them early at a discounted price. Many of the pieces are fall staples that you can create an entire capsule wardrobe out of. And looking back at my previous purchases, many of the items I buy during this sale become my most worn throughout the season. Plus I’m getting them on a huge discount so I end up spending hardly anything during the fall because I already have what I need!
Also, if you have a significant other or children, this is a great time to grab some items for Christmas! I know we’re still a long way out, but the deals are so good, I usually snag a few items for Nathan.
BEST TIPS OR TRICKS TO SHOP THE SALE
- SHOP FAST – This sale is one that sells out quickly, so make a wishlist and press the checkout button quick or you might loose several items you want! Remember, returns are free, so there is no harm in overbuying when you can try on at home and then return!
- SHOP ONLINE – While I love touching/trying on items in store, this sale includes thousands of items that won’t all be in-store. Shopping online is your best bet in getting great deals and the right sizing.
- SHOP IMPULSIVELY (BUT WITH A PLAN) – Since you can preview the sale before shopping, I make a wishlist days before allowing me on “shop” day to checkout worry free knowing everything I want is ordered. That being said, I tend to over-order in multiple sizes and styles to try on at home. This keeps me worry free knowing that if something runs big or small, I still have the item before it sells out.
- SHOP MUST HAVES – I tend to buy mostly staple items during the sale including jeans, boots and coats that will get me through the fall/winter. This helps me spend less during those months not needing shoes or winter items that I would pay more for due to the season.
- SAVE DOUBLE POINT DAYS– If your new to shopping at Nordstrom, Nordstrom Notes are reward points gifted from purchases. Double point days are given throughout the year to use on large purchases, which I save at least one for the Anniversary sale since I tend to buy more at once! This gets me money back on items I’m purchasing from the sale!
- SHOP TWICE – When shopping this sale, I always recommend buying Must Haves first, then going back for another pass to make sure nothing was missed. Sometimes I have 3-4 orders in total due to items coming back in stock, or finding something new, but always make sure to check twice!
- SHOP WITH ME – I’ll be giving daily updates on my instagram with my favorite items, restocks and try ons so be sure to follow along here! I personally buy items I’m not sure of when seeing them on someone, which is why I always share several try on hauls for you to see them on my body type!
