Welcome to your guide for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2020! This page will include important dates for each level of shopping and when restocks happen, so be sure to check back often for information on the BIGGEST sale of the year. I recommend going into this sale with a plan & budget, but don’t worry because I’m here to help you along the way!

When can I start shopping the Nordstrom sale?

  • JULY 24th – You can preview the sale on the Nordstrom website
  • August 4th-18th – early access for Icon Status Nordstrom Cardholders
  • August 7-18th – early access for Ambassador Status Nordstrom Cardholders
  • August 10-18th – early access for Influencer Status Nordstrom Cardholders
  • August 13-18th– Insider Early Access – If you have a Nordstrom card, you can shop during this time!
  • August 19-30th – Open to the public, everyone can shop (even without the nordstrom card)!

If you’re still unsure when you can shop, visit this page and if you’re logged into your account it will tell you! If you want early access to the sale, sign up for a Nordstrom credit card – click here! If you sign up for a card between now and August 18th, you get a $60 Nordstrom Note to spend during the Anniversary Sale (that’s $60 cash to use at Nordstrom!)

How can I shop the sale during early access?

Head to this post to see my Ultimate roundup of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale to see my favorite items and start by creating a wishlist! This will create a running tab for all your items and when the sale opens for you to shop, you can click “add to cart” on your wishlist for fast shopping! This will help you get everything on your list before items sell out!

Shopping early is the best way to make sure you get your hands on the items you are purchasing before they sell out! I signed up for the Nordstrom card two years ago and save up my Nordstrom Notes throughout the year for the sale.

Why is this sale so popular?

Most sales at other retailers markdown items at the end of the season, but the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is the only sale that marks down new items. You can score new fall staples well before the temps drop to get the most use of your purchases. I typically invest the most in my Fall and Winter wardrobe because these items are typically more expensive (think coats, jeans, and boots), so I love getting to shop them early at a discounted price. I’ve found over the years that I tend to wear my booties, coats and jeans from the Nordstrom Sale more than any other items in my closet in the fall/winter!
