Mom & Me Shopping with Copper Penny – Brentwood Crawl
Can you believe November is almost here? This year has flown by and holiday season is right around the corner! After moving to Nashville last year in September, I found out about the Brentwood Crawl, a local event to do some early shopping in the best Brentwood boutiques, and the best part, a $700 GIVEAWAY!! Shopping with my Best Friend!
My mom and I love to shop, but honestly, its so hard to find boutiques where we both find something we love, well that was until I stopped into Copper Penny Brentwood. Y’all have heard me rave about them for workwear, but they also have the cutest everyday clothing that compliments all ages. Nothing makes me happier than finding a ton of items I want to try on and sharing the dressing room with my mom while we both do a mini fashion show for each other deciding what we “have” to have!
Now that I don’t live as close as I’d like to my parents, taking advantage of shopping when we are together is something I cherish more than ever. While shopping at Copper Penny Brentwood this time, we both found denim, cozy sweaters, a cardigan for those cold nights and the cutest accessories. The best part, everything we got could be reworked into another outfit perfect for the workplace; y’all know I’m always on the hunt for transitional clothing.
Lets Dig In!
To look a little further into our outfits, lets start with my mom! I talked her into these darling Lysse denim jeggings and while she wasn’t sure how they would fit, once she slid on the elastic waistband and felt the stretchy goodness of this denim, she couldn’t help but wear them out! Since she is a realtor by day, a crisp white button up is a necessity in her closet and Lysse had the “just-right” fit for her. I grabbed this grey shaw to throw over and she picked out the beaded necklace below to tie it all together!
For my outfit, I started with this pink cardigan, then added some warm layers. Y’all know I can’t resist anything pink, so when I caught a glimpse of this sparkly, fringe cardigan, I just had to put it on! The best part about both of our cardigans is that they are one size fits all, making it the perfect gift for anyone in your family.
I added this darling white mock neck sweater that has a cute little bow to adjust the fit, making it a great staple. I opted for a distressed denim for this outfit to keep it casual, and love the fit of these AG stretch jeans with a fun raw hem. My necklace and booties added the last touch of sparkle to the outfit with the right amount of Hannah! Keep scrolling for a closer look at my booties!
Twinning Together!
I also surprised my mom with the cardigan I picked out in pink allowing us to match come cooler weather, basically now cause its freezing in TN! I think my mom looks gorgeous in brown tones, and couldn’t resist getting her this girly, glittery cardigan. Since she loves to add layers in the fall, I knew the larger arm openings would give plenty of room for a ton of chunky sweaters.
Also whats better than twinning with your mom?! This cute cardigan is something I’ll definitely be picking up for my family and girlfriends because its the perfect price point for a gift, but is much more than a candle. While buying clothes for women in your family can be tough, I can assure you this piece will be one everyone loves and fits into with its side slits, large arm holes and comfy hood!
Brentwood Crawl
Even though you might think I’m crazy to be talking about christmas gifts, you’ll be happy to get them all done and on sale during the Brentwood Crawl! I’ve linked the official page here for more details, but I’ll break it down below:
- Pick up a ticket from any of the participating stores, starting October 22nd.
- Visit all 14 stores during the Crawl dates, November 1st, 2nd and 3rd and get your card stamped at each store.
- Turn in your card at the last store you visit during the Crawl.
- Collect 10 out of 14 stamps to be eligible for a $50 Gift Card or Prize.
- Collect all 14 stamps to be eligible for a grand prize drawing for a $700 Gift Card to the Store of your choice (among the Crawl participants).
- A random drawing will be held to select all prizes on a date to be determined after the crawl.
I’m a firm believer in getting all my Christmas shopping done ahead of time so I don’t stress about it, and this is the perfect opportunity to get it all done at once! I can personally say I have worked with or shopped at each and every one of these stores and believe they each offer a unique appeal. I can’t wait to join in this fun and shop till I drop next week!
