Homemade Mac N’ Cheese

Happy Tuesday! Last week my little brother came over to help move our treadmill upstairs, so I treated him to homemade Mac N’ Cheese! It is perfect for picky eaters (no tomatoes or onions haha!) and is under 30 minutes to cook! This recipe makes quite a bit, so there will be plenty for leftovers too, which lasts up to 4 days in the fridge!

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups small pasta shells
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese
  • 8-10 Ritz crackers
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • salt & pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Fill large pot with water and set to boil.
  2. Add pasta to boiling water. While pasta cooks, cut cheddar cheese into small cubes. Strain pasta and place back in large pot.
  3. Slowly add butter, milk and cheese to pot on low heat. Stir slowly to allow cheese to melt. Once cheese has melted, pour pot of pasta into shallow cook wear.
  4. Top with crackers and bake for 5 min and serve!

I hope your family enjoys this recipe as much as we do- especially those picky eaters! Feel free to tag me when making this so I can share! I hope you all have a great rest of your week!
