Decorating for the Christmas season can be intemidating; but have no fear, this Home Decor Christmas Gift Guide is your one stop to finding all the items you need for the holidays!

Last year was my first year decorating a home for the holidays as we had just purchased our first house, and finally weren’t in college which gave us a reason to decorate! I was so excited, but quickly realized, I was starting from scratch and had nothing. While this can be fun, it was also overwhelming due to the limitless options.

Here’s one quick tip: pick a theme and stick to it!

  1. Grapevine Cone Pre-Lit Tree: Prep your party table for the holiday season with this Large Lit Grapevine Cone Christmas Tree Decorative that is a dupe to the Pottery Barn version linked here. This cone-shaped tree sculpture makes a great addition to your home’s holiday decor.
  2. Embroidered Pillow Cover: There’s nothing like home for the holidays, with a freshly cut tree ready for decorating. Update your current pillows with this zip on pillow sham that’s on sale!
  3. Flameless Pinecone Candle: Dusted with shimmering faux snow on the tips of the pinecone, this candle plays a good trick with its faux flame that will keep these candles lasting for years!
  4. Mercury Glass Trees: Create a display of wintry light and warm your home with these silver mercury-glass trees.
  5. Snowflake Stocking Holder: These Snowflake Christmas Stocking Holders are the perfect pick for bringing a classic touch of holiday charm to your decor and are under $20 for a set of two!
  6. Faux Leaf Ball Ornament: Snow-covered earthy ornament with splotches of shimmery paint will reflect the lights on your tree for a pretty shine.
  7. Flocked Garland: Still waiting for this to arrive, but purchased for $25 and can’t wait to put it over our fireplace! Tagged an amazon option here in case it sells out!
  8. Light Up Birch Tree: The soft neutral colors and intricate texture of natural birch add a peaceful woodland feel to seasonal decorating. Mix with a group of other pre-lit trees or use as a centerpiece!
  9. Pine Cone Wreath: This country rustic wreath is the perfect addition to your Holiday decor with an assortment of pine cones with pine needles and red berries.
  10. Gold Ornament Set: Add classic flair and rustic charm to your holiday decor with the 8-Count 70mm Shatter-Resistant Christmas Ornament Set that’s only $5!
  11. Flocked Christmas Tree: 6.5′ flocked pre-lit tree under $100! Purchased this tree last year and am re-using this year as we loved it so much + all the flocking stayed on!
  12. Ornament Storage: These $10 storage bins saved us a ton of time when decorating our tree this year & kept our favorite ornaments safe all year long!
  13. Gold Wired Ribbon: Embellish your paper or Christmas Tree with this glittery wired ribbon.

Quick Tip 2: Purchase your Christmas tree first!

Not only do they sell out early, but figuring out what look to go with can help with all the rest of the decor!

For the 2018 Christmas season, I went with classic charm as my theme. Quick tip 2: buy the christmas tree first. Once you know what your dealing with on that end, it’s much easier to understand what you’ll need. We bought this tree for under $100 and have loved it + are re-using it this year!

Since I love unique items, I went to a local boutique & Home Goods to purchase a variety of farmhouse style ornaments and ended up with this style of tree last year.

This year, I’m using the same tree + most ornaments but going for a different theme and can’t wait to share! On my instagram stories, I’m sharing a sneak peak; click here head to my instagram and click on my profile picture to watch the behind the scenes!
