5 ways to add pink into your life!
Well guys, its Monday which means we have another week ahead of us, so I decided to brighten our days up a little with a fun post on how to add pink into your every day life! While you may know that I’m not afraid to cover literally anything and everything in pink, I know that doesn’t appeal to everyone . . . therefore I’m going to share 5 simple ways to wear or add some pink into your current lifestyle!
- 1. A cute Romper! To start us off, I’m sharing this super cute pink striped romper from Shop Dress Up, that I picked up a couple weeks ago, but couldn’t link it yet since it wasn’t online yet, but it finally is and is only $36! While I’m wearing a size L, because thats all they had in stock and I couldn’t live without it, I would recommend getting your normal size! Its a pull on romper, which means its super comfortable and due to the neckline, you don’t have to worry about it falling down at all! I also love that the straps are adjustable, which makes it fit everyone. I received a ton of dm’s on this romper and I’m so excited I can finally share it with ya’ll!! This is such a simple way to add a little color into your wardrobe without being too bold, and since hot weather is right around the corner, it’ll be a great transition piece to wear for those sticky days!
- 2.Jewlery! I just recently found Henri Lou Designs, which I’m wearing above and couldn’t be happier with the quality and style of their jewelry. I instantly fell in love with the trickle necklace I’ve been wearing over and over again, which hasn’t irrirtated my skin once, so that’s a plus! I’m also wearing their pearl ring which is adjustable so it fits any finger and has just the right amount of give so it isn’t too loose or too tight. All of their designs are simple and elegant and in my opinion can be worn with every outfit to add a special touch of pink!
- 3. These adorable sheets from SchoolHouse. I personally buy all my sheets from their brand because the durability mixed with the quality and prints is something I have yet to find from another company! This subtle polka dot print adds just the right amount of pink without overpowering the room. I have always been a sucker for pink bedding, but always have the hardest time finding pink sheets, so when I discovered these, I couldn’t wait to share! They have so many other cute designs and much brighter pink options, but I love the classic polka dot and think they achieve the perfect look in this room!
- 4. Flowers. While this may be a really simple fix, it does add a lot of personality to a bland room and is something everyone can add to their home in the easiest spots! My mom and I found this iron coat stand at Marshalls one day and had to add it to my room at home, but the thing that makes it stand out are the pink faux flowers! You probably wouldn’t have even noticed the cute coat rack without them! I love adding some faux and real flowers around our house and specifically in the bed rooms to add a feminine touch. While you can pick these up anywhere, I’ve linked my favorite here!
- 5. Duvet Cover: I’m a sucker for a cute duvet cover, and while I’m always chilly, Nathan gets too hot in the summer to keep the duvet on all year long, so we fold it at the bottom of the bed to keep our bedroom looking put together and just add a simple quilt as our top blanket. This duvet cover really brightens up the room and pull the whole look together. I found this one also at SchoolHouse and loved that it was linen, reinforcing the cool theme for summer. While this is a statement for most rooms, I can get away with it since this is my room at my parents house!
I hope these pink looks have brightened your Monday! I’d love to see how you add pink into your everyday lifestyle so be sure to tag #thekraushouse if you’d like me to share!!
P.S. For all my married friends out there, I get away with all the pink in this room because it’s my room at my parents house. I can’t wait to share my new home soon, I’m slowly bringing some pink in without scaring Nathan too much . . . these pink sheets may or may not have been ordered for our King sized bed at home!
